Monday dancers receive four complimentary Flex Class Passes each season - 2 for the Fall Semester and 2 for the Spring Semester - to account for the additional holiday closures affecting Monday classes. Flex Class Passes allow your dancer to drop into any class the same age and level.

Welcome to The Hype Dance Complex! Our secure facility remains locked during operating hours and is monitored by an on-site security guard during the regular season. After registration, families receive a welcome packet containing our private entry door code, studio procedures, and other information available exclusively to enrolled Hype families.Please do not share the studio entry code with anyone outside your household.Our studio address is:4073-4075 W Pico BlvdLos Angeles, CA 90019We have a 55-car parking lot, entrance off Pico. Very rarely our parking lot will be closed for filming or events at the venue next door. We will notify all families.
Monthly TuitionTuition for one regularly scheduled weekly class is $90 per month.Tuition is divided into 10 equal monthly installments across the studio season and is not based on the number of classes held in a particular calendar month.A $35 nonrefundable annual family registration fee is due at the time of enrollment.Please see the “Billing, Enrollment & Withdrawal” section below for billing dates, payment policies, and withdrawal information.Multi-Class DiscountsMulti-class discounts are based on the total number of regularly scheduled weekly classes in which an individual dancer is enrolled.2 classes per week: $20 off monthly tuition3 classes per week: $25 off monthly tuition4 classes per week: $30 off monthly tuition5 classes per week: $35 off monthly tuition6 classes per week: $40 off monthly tuitionThe monthly discount increases by $5 for each additional weekly class.Multi-class discounts are calculated once from the dancer’s combined monthly tuition and are not applied separately to each individual class.Sibling DiscountFamilies with more than one enrolled dancer receive a 10% sibling discount on eligible recurring tuition.The sibling discount applies only to regularly scheduled weekly class tuition and does not apply to the annual family registration fee, private lessons, masterclasses, workshops, intensives, costumes, competition expenses, team fees, outside programs, or special events.Combining DiscountsWhen applicable, multi-class and sibling discounts may be combined.Multi-class discounts are calculated first based on each individual dancer’s weekly class enrollment. Eligible sibling discounts are then applied to qualifying tuition.Private LessonsPrivate, duet, and trio lessons are available by appointment and are scheduled based on instructor and studio availability.Please email info@thehypedance.com for current rates, instructor availability, and scheduling.Private lessons are not eligible for sibling or multi-class discounts.Please note that cancellations or rescheduling requests must be submitted at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time. Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, missed lessons, and no-shows are charged in full. Complete private lesson policies are available during registration.
The 2026–2027 studio season runs from September 8, 2026 through June 14, 2027 and is structured as a 10-month program.Each regularly scheduled weekly class includes approximately 34–35 class opportunities throughout the season, depending on the day of the week. The exact number of class meetings varies due to holidays and scheduled studio closures.Tuition is based on enrollment for the full studio season rather than the number of classes held in a particular month. Monthly tuition remains the same throughout the season, even though some months include more class meetings than others.Families may enroll after the season begins, space permitting. Tuition will be prorated when applicable.The studio calendar, including scheduled closures and holidays, is available on our website under “Calendar” and is provided to enrolled families each season. Please see the “Billing, Enrollment & Withdrawal” section below for billing dates, payment policies, and withdrawal procedures.
Monthly BillingTuition is automatically charged through the family’s Jackrabbit account on the 28th of each month for the upcoming month’s classes.For dancers enrolled for the full season:August 28, 2026 – September tuitionMay 28, 2027 – Final (June) tuition paymentA valid payment method must remain on file while a dancer is enrolled. Families are responsible for maintaining current payment information, billing information, and contact information in Jackrabbit.Families enrolling after the season begins will be charged according to their enrollment date. Any applicable prorated tuition will be communicated during the registration process.WithdrawalFamilies may withdraw from classes at any time by submitting written notice to info@thehypedance.com.Written withdrawal notice must be received before the 28th of the current month to prevent the upcoming month’s tuition charge. If written notice is received on or after the 28th, the upcoming month’s tuition will be processed as scheduled.Informing an instructor, missing class, or verbally communicating an intention to withdraw does not constitute official withdrawal.Withdrawal from one class does not automatically withdraw a dancer from other enrolled classes. Families must clearly identify each class from which the dancer is withdrawing.The annual family registration fee is nonrefundable.Late & Declined PaymentsAccounts that remain unpaid for five (5) calendar days after the scheduled payment date will incur a $25 late fee.Class participation may be paused if an account remains unpaid for ten (10) calendar days.Declined or returned payments must be resolved through the family’s Jackrabbit account before the dancer returns to class.The Hype Dance Complex reserves the right to suspend enrollment or deny future registration for accounts with unresolved outstanding balances.
Make-Up ClassesDancers may attend up to two make-up classes per semester for student absences.Fall Semester: September 8, 2026–January 29, 2027Spring Semester: February 1, 2027–June 14, 2027Make-up classes must:* Be arranged in advance* Be age- and level-appropriate* Have available space* Be approved by the studio* Be used during the semester in which the absence occurredUnused make-ups do not carry into the following semester or season and may not be transferred, refunded, or exchanged for account credit.Make-ups may not be used for private lessons, masterclasses, team-only classes, invite-only classes, camps, intensives, workshops, outside programs, or special events.Monday Flex Class PassesDancers registered in Monday classes receive four complimentary Flex Class Passes each season to account for additional Monday holiday closures. Please email us for flex class pass options for your dancer. This ONLY applies to non-team dancers enrolled in Monday classes. Two Flex Class Passes may be used during the fall semester, and the remaining two may be used during the spring semester.Flex Class Passes may be used in any available, age- and level-appropriate regularly scheduled class with advance studio approval.Monday Flex Class Passes are separate from the regular make-up allowance. Unused passes do not carry into the following semester or season and have no cash, refund, or account-credit value.
Refunds and CreditsTuition, registration fees, and other payments are generally nonrefundable, nontransferable, and not eligible for account credit, except where otherwise required by applicable law.Refunds or credits are not provided for:* Individual absences* Illness* Vacations* Scheduling conflicts* Voluntarily missed classes* Changes in personal circumstances* A dancer’s decision to discontinue participation* Unused make-up classes or Flex Class PassesEnrollment reserves a dancer’s place in a class and may prevent another dancer from enrolling.Circumstances Beyond the Studio’s ControlThe Hype Dance Complex reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, relocate, modify, extend, or temporarily suspend classes when reasonably necessary due to circumstances beyond the studio’s control or to protect the health, safety, and operation of the studio community.When reasonably possible, the studio may provide an alternative class, make-up opportunity, adjusted calendar, virtual instruction, substitute programming, or another appropriate accommodation.Temporary modifications to the schedule, location, format, or method of instruction do not automatically qualify for a refund or account credit. Any refund legally required for services that ultimately cannot be provided will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
Secure FacilityThe Hype Dance Complex is a secure facility. The building remains locked with only door code access during operating hours and is monitored by an on-site security guard.After registration, families will receive a welcome packet containing the studio address, private entry instructions, door code, arrival and dismissal procedures, and other information available exclusively to enrolled Hype families.Entry information and door codes may not be shared outside the registered dancer’s household.Student SupervisionParents and guardians are responsible for dancers before their scheduled class begins and immediately after class ends.The Hype Dance Complex assumes responsibility for a dancer only while the dancer is participating in their registered class under staff supervision.Parents and guardians are responsible for arranging their dancer’s transportation, arrival, and departure from the studio. The Hype Dance Complex does not operate a formal daily sign-out or individually verified pickup system. At the conclusion of class, dancers are dismissed according to the arrangements established by their family.Families are responsible for determining whether their dancer may leave the studio independently, meet a parent or guardian outside, walk to a waiting vehicle, or requires an adult to be present at the studio entrance. Any special dismissal instructions or legally enforceable custody restrictions must be provided to the studio in writing, together with any applicable court documentation.The studio will make reasonable efforts to follow written instructions provided in advance but cannot monitor private family arrangements or restrictions that have not been disclosed to us.Families are responsible for prompt drop-off and pickup and must notify the studio of any authorized pickup restrictions or special dismissal instructions.Families may be subject to late-pick-up-fees if a student is consistently waiting more than 15m after the end time of their class.Audio and Video MonitoringFor the safety and security of our dancers, families, and staff, audio and video monitoring is in use throughout designated classrooms and common areas. Recordings are used for safety, security, and internal incident review and are not available for general family viewing.Families who need to discuss sensitive or private information should request to speak with studio management in the studio office, which is not monitored by audio or video recording equipment.ParkingThe Hype Dance Complex shares a 55-car parking lot with the filming and music venue next door.The lot is generally available to studio families; however, on rare occasions it may be closed or have limited availability because of a neighboring event or production. Families will always be notified in advance whenever the studio receives notice of a parking closure or restriction.Families must follow posted parking instructions and may not block entrances, loading areas, neighboring businesses, or other vehicles.AnimalsOnly trained service animals are permitted inside the facility. Pets and emotional-support animals that are not trained service animals may not enter the studio.
Class MinimumsClasses require a minimum enrollment of four dancers. Classes that do not meet minimum enrollment may be combined, rescheduled, or canceled. If a class is canceled, families will be contacted with available class alternatives.Instructor ChangesThe Hype Dance Complex is proud to offer instruction from accomplished working professionals, including dancers and choreographers represented by leading agencies and actively working in the entertainment industry. Professional opportunities such as tours, performances, rehearsals, auditions, and production schedules may occasionally affect instructor availability.By enrolling, families understand that instructors may change temporarily or permanently throughout the season. The studio may provide a qualified substitute or reassign a class to another member of our faculty when necessary. Instructor changes do not qualify for refunds or credits.
The Hype Dance Complex is a place where dancers are encouraged to show up as themselves. We welcome dancers of all backgrounds, identities, cultures, family structures, body types, experience levels, learning styles, and artistic goals.Our community is built on respect, encouragement, individuality, and a shared love of dance. Whether a dancer is stepping into a studio for the first time or pursuing advanced training, our goal is for every student to feel seen, supported, challenged, and proud of their growth.We believe there is no single way a dancer should look, move, learn, communicate, or express themselves. Each dancer brings something valuable to the room, and we are committed to creating an environment where differences are respected and everyone is treated with dignity and kindness.Families whose dancer has a disability, medical consideration, sensory need, mobility difference, learning difference, or other support need are encouraged to contact studio management before enrolling. We will discuss the dancer’s individual needs, available class options, and any reasonable accommodations or modifications that may support safe and meaningful participation. The Hype Dance Complex is committed to maintaining a safe, supportive, inclusive, and respectful environment for dancers, families, faculty, staff, and guests.Bullying, harassment, racism, discrimination, intimidation, threats, retaliation, deliberate exclusion, physical aggression, inappropriate language, and conduct that interferes with another person’s safety or ability to participate are not permitted.This policy applies to conduct occurring:* Inside the studio facility* During studio classes, events, performances, competitions, and travel* In studio-related group chats or online spaces* On social media when the conduct directly affects members of the studio communityFamilies are encouraged to report concerns directly to studio management. Reports will be reviewed as promptly and fairly as reasonably possible. Depending on the seriousness and circumstances of the conduct, the studio may use parent communication, a meeting, a behavior agreement, temporary suspension, removal from a class or event, or termination of enrollment. Serious conduct may result in immediate removal.Retaliation against anyone who raises a good-faith safety or conduct concern is prohibited.The Hype Dance Complex reserves the right to discontinue participation when reasonably necessary because of unsafe behavior, repeated policy violations, significant disruption, harassment, nonpayment, damage to property, or conduct that negatively affects the well-being of the studio community.
